| Looking for help on the waiver wire? We look at players owned in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues and list those that might be able to help you out. | ||||
| Name | TM | Pos | % Owned | Comments |
| Alex Smith | SFO | QB | 19% | Smith followed up last week's 3 TD performance with 198 yards and 1 TD with an interception. Solid, but not spectacular. Still, he's got a little upside. |
| Vince Young | TEN | QB | 9% | Young didn't do much in his first start, but didn't turn the ball over either. |
| Mark Sanchez | NYJ | QB | 38% | Sanchez had a solid outing with 265 yards and 2 TDs. |
| Trent Edwards | BUF | QB | 23% | Edwards will likely return to the starting lineup this week. When healthy he has averaged about 180 yards and 1 TD. The offensive line hasn't helped him out much. |
| Jason Campbell | WAS | QB | 23% | Campbell returns from his bye week. He's there if you need a bye week or injury fill in. |
| Ryan Moats | HOU | RB | 21% | If you've got the waiver priority, Moats is the guy to pick up this week. He played in place of Slaton and had a huge week. The team hasn't announced him as the starter going forward, but if he continues to produce it will be hard to keep him on the bench. |
| Jamal Lewis | CLE | RB | 40% | He's still the starting RB somehow. If you need some help with byes, he's there. |
| Jamaal Charles | KCC | RB | 27% | Charles will get the start this week with Larry Johnson suspended. If you've got a spot, pick him up and see what he does this week. |
| Darren McFadden | OAK | RB | 32% | Reports are coming out that McFadden is closer to returning. If you're desperate and have a place to stash him, he's there. |
| Maurice Morris | DET | RB | 2% | Morris could get the start this week if Kevin Smith misses time with his shoulder injury. |
| Chris Wells | ARI | RB | 48% | Wells rushed for 47 yards and looked good. The problem is that he isn't getting many carries because the team has more confidence in Hightower in the passing game. |
| Correll Buckhalter | DEN | RB | 39% | Buckhalter has been productive this year, especially in PPR. |
| Justin Fargas | OAK | RB | 15% | Fargas ran for 59 yards and a TD. |
| Jeremy Maclin | PHI | WR | 46% | Maclin will benefit from opposing defenses focusing on DeSean Jackson. He had another solid week with 4 catches for 47 yards and a TD. |
| Michael Jenkins | ATL | WR | 24% | 4 catches for 66 yards was pretty good last week. |
| Malcom Floyd | SDG | WR | 5% | The Chargers cut Chris Chambers, opening up the door of opportunity for Floyd. He had 2 catches for 64 yards last week. |
| Isaac Bruce | SFO | WR | 10% | Bruce may benefit from having Alex Smith at the helm. He ahd 4 catches for 51 yards last week. He did have a couple of drops, but he could help you out in a bind - especially in PPR leagues. |
| Anthony Gonzalez | IND | WR | 43% | Gonzalez has been practicing some and is getting closer to returning. |
| Dustin Keller | NYJ | TE | 48% | Keller had 13 targets last week, leading all tight ends. |
| Fred Davis | WAS | TE | 12% | When Chris Cooley went down with a broken ankle during Week 7, Davis stepped in and had a very productive week. He was on bye last week and is available in most leagues if you need him this week. |
| Jermichael Finley | GBP | TE | 15% | He may get back from injury this week. If so, he could help you out in a pinch. |
